“Is share market open today?” This question appears to many. Look no further now as we bring you holiday list of stock market for CY23. Starting with April, National Stock Exchange(NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange(BSE) to remain closed on four days in April, out of which one would be Saturday (April 22).
Markets will be closed on April 4(Mahavir Jayanti), April 7(Good Friday), April 14(Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti) and April 22(ID-Ul-Fitr). Trading in the multi-commodity exchange (MCX) and the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Ltd (NCDEX) will be closed for the morning session for April 4 and April 14. For both, trading will resume at 5 pm. However for April 7 markets will be closed for both morning and evening session.

In CY 23, the market will be shut for 15 trading holidays. NDS-RST,Tri-Party Repo, Commodity Derivatives Segment, Currency Derivatives Segment and Electronic Gold Receipts(EGR) segment will also remain shut on these holidays. Following is the list of the holidays for CY23 –
