The Nifty has been on a downtrend after hitting the level of 18850 on 1st December 2022. In 4 months that nifty has come down by approximately 1500 points. For some this level may be worrying to trade while some may be wishing for more fall in the level in coming months. 1. Tata Motors
Tata Motors is posting record sales quarter on quarter. With a strong product portfolio both in passenger vehicle segment and commercial vehicle segment and rising automobile demand, Tata Motors would be looking to leverage the same. The company posted sales of Rs.88,489 crore and Rs.3,203 crore profit before tax in December 22 Quarter. Although there is a substantial debt on the automobile manufacturer, the leadership feels the company is on track to achieve net zero automotive debt by FY24. For more clarity we would need to wait for the annual results.
2. Titan Company
Another Tata Group company, once started as a watch manufacturer Titan has now become one of the dominant retail giant operating in eye wear (Titan Eye Plus), clothing(Taneira) , accessories(IRTH) limited to watches. The company has always generated positive cash flows year on year and reinvested the same to solidify its position. In December 2022 the company generated revenue of Rs.11,609 crore and Rs.1245 crore profit before tax. However for more insights, annual report for this year will be quite helpful.
